Featherstone's annual Potters Bowl is an anticipated summer event!

Local potters work throughout the year to create beautiful bowls which they donate to Featherstone for this special fundraiser. Patrons are able to select handcrafted bowls and are then served a casual summer meal of locally made soup from Island restaurants and caterers (along with Island made bread and desserts!). It's an affordable, community focused event which also raises needed funds for the art center.

For Donating Potters: As always, free reclaim clay and waived open studio and firing fees are available for creating bowls for this fundraising event. Bowl artists are invited to attend the event and receive a complimentary bowl (and soup) as our thank you to you. A good guideline for bowl making is to try and make bowls that can hold at least 12 oz. We would like bowls to be delivered by Monday, September 4th.
